Registered Nurse – Postpartum

Schedule:

Rotating 12-hour shifts, must work every other weekend and every other major holiday.

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Current or conditional RN license in Massachusetts
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 1+ year of experience in Postpartum
• EMR experience with EPIC preferred
• Lactation certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient recovery from delivery.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and infant care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required during season.
• Orientation includes 3 days of hospital system wide and 3 days on the unit.
• Scrubs provided.
