Job Title
Nights - RN Med Surg/Tele
Responsibilities24‑bed medical/surgical telemetry floor serving adult and geriatric patients. Admit patients from the ER, cardiac catheterization lab, EP laboratory, and transfers from the ICU and SDU. Maintain a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 4:5 during day shifts, 4:5 during evening shifts, and 6:5 during night shifts.
Orientation2–3 shifts of orientation; the first shift includes housekeeping (identification), Epic test‑out, and online education.
Requirements- Must be able to read telemetry and use Pyxis for medication dispensing.
- Must have Epic experience.
- COVID‑19 vaccine + booster and 2024‑2025 influenza vaccine required at the time of submission (declinations not accepted). If a candidate does not have a current flu vaccine, an attestation stating they will receive it prior to start is acceptable.
- BILH cover sheet required.
- Active MA license required at time of submission.
- Local candidates not accepted.
- Cannot have worked permanently or as travel staff for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months.
