Overview
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.) — Full Time, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift. The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Five Star, Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association award-winning short-term rehab, long-term, and skilled nursing care community located on the Cambridge/Belmont line. We are dedicated to our residents and team members—join us!
Sign-on bonus: $1,500 for full-time positions.
About the FacilityThe Neville Center at Fresh Pond is located in Cambridge, near the Belmont line. We are a Joint Commission and American Healthcare Association Silver Medal Award-winning facility focused on quality care for residents and a fast-paced, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
- Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provides all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
- Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to promote individual independence, including walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing, and bed mobility.
- Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
- Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Other languages are helpful.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
