Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an LTAC oncology unit with patients requiring chemotherapy and diagnosis management. The role includes assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care. The Nurse will work every other weekend and holidays.

• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Licensed registered nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or oncology nursing. Valid license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  Maintaining accurate, detailed reports and records; administering medications and monitoring for reactions; recording medical information and vital signs; reporting symptoms or changes in patient conditions; coordinating with healthcare team members to evaluate and modify care plans.
