- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am
- Rotating weekends:
Every other weekend
- Major holidays:
Every other holiday
Assignment Details
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active or conditional RN license in Massachusetts
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery units
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not considered - 2 recent references from L&D Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Drivers license with matching address
- Flu vaccine required during season
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery settings.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with patient stabilization.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postnatal care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
