Registered Nurse

Cambridge Health Alliance seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As part of a mission-driven, academic community health system, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse, often underserved patients across primary, specialty, and behavioral health settings. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, precept learners, support population health and equity initiatives, and contribute to quality and safety improvement in a teaching-focused, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop evidence-based nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status using EHR systems
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care management
• Support population health, health equity, and public health initiatives
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection control activities
• Precept and mentor nursing students and new staff in a teaching environment
• Advocate for culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
• Respond to emergencies and follow CHA and unit-specific clinical protocols
