American Traveler is hiring an RN for a LTAC Oncology unit requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start and upon renewal
- Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
- LTAC Oncology unit caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy and diagnosis management
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Administer medications, monitor patient reactions, and record vital signs and clinical changes
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
