About This Role
The Registered Nurse - Complex Medical Spaulding provides patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Department of Nursing, utilizing clinical skills to implement the nursing process and support patient-driven outcomes.
Highlights- Pay: $38 - $83/hour
- Location: Cambridge, MA
- Facility: The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation
- Department/Unit: The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
- Complete nursing assessments accurately and timely.
- Develop and implement a plan of care reflecting patient needs and goals.
- Provide, evaluate, and modify nursing care to achieve goals.
- Complete patient care documentation per established standards.
- Administer medications safely according to professional standards.
- Transcribe or acknowledge doctors' orders and carry them out as directed.
- Coordinate nursing care activities with other care team members.
- Assess patient education needs and provide necessary education.
- Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed.
- Actively participate in team conferences and meetings.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
- Experience in nursing required
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
