The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Lab Technician (Compound Hub Specialist) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cambridge, MA.

Pay Rate: $20 - $26/hour
Duration: 6 Months
The Sample Management group is seeking a Lab Technician (Compound Hub Specialist) to support compound processing and inventory operations within the Compound Hub. Responsibilities include handling new compound orders, weighing solid samples using analytical balances to prepare solutions, operating automated liquid handling systems, processing inventory requests, and managing sample logistics, including packaging and receipt of samples from internal and external sources.
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
- 0–24 months of laboratory experience
- Compound inventory management and distribution
- Solid sample weighing using analytical balances and weigh hoods
- Solution preparation and quality control processes
- Sample logistics and inventory tracking
- Automated liquid handling systems and laboratory robotics
- Hardware and software troubleshooting in laboratory automation environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with compound management workflows in pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratories
- Hands‑on experience with Tecan Evo systems
- Experience with Biomicrolab Volume Checker and Biomicrolab Tube Sorter systems
- Knowledge of inventory management, solution production, and automated sample processing system
