The Opportunity
In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Onsite Services and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Hourly Pay Range: $27 – $29

What We're Looking For:
- High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a scientific field strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of lab environment work experience or college degree in scientific subject area required.
- Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills required.
- Handling, shipping, and preparing samples for testing and analysis required.
- Keep a clean, sterile, and functional workspace required.
- Organizational skills required to organize, catalog, maintain sample inventory, ensuring proper labeling, and following established protocols for sample handling.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines are critical to maintaining the integrity and traceability of samples.
- Ability to follow, write, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- A detailed understanding and ability to operate in an aseptic environment equipment.
- Generalized understanding of health and safety hazards in the presence of caustics and acids.
- Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.
- High level of customer service skills with the ability to always display a professional can-do demeanor.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet goals.
- Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups.
- Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality.

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
- Execute routine laboratory support procedures and preparations for daily operations in Samples Management.
- Samples processing of compounds both dry and solution.
- Fulfilling special requests for compounds accurately.
- Receiving and tracking packages while properly storing compounds in the correct storage conditions.
- Storing or archiving and disposing samples in established inventory management.
- Prepare samples for international and domestic shipping.
- Laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration (balances, automated stores, liquid handling devices, sonicator and water bath).
- Maintain lab inventory
- Track KPIs.
- Operating Echo acoustic liquid handler preferred.
- DOT/IATA certification preferred.
- Maintain clean laboratory
- Other duties as needed.
