Process Development Associate II – Milford, MA

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience in a GMP, ISO, manufacturing, or regulated lab environment who enjoys formulation work, new product onboarding, batch records, and process improvement.

Location: Milford, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 100% onsite

Compensation: $25–$34/hour

Responsibilities
  • Supporting new product onboarding, including feasibility, scalability, consistency, and verification activities
  • Calculating, performing, verifying, and reviewing chemical product formulations
  • Generating manufacturing batch records and translating customer requirements into technical manufacturing instructions
  • Creating pilot, verification, and investigational batches
  • Drafting, reviewing, and updating SOPs, work instructions, memos, Safety Data Sheets, and related documentation
  • Assisting with investigations related to complaints, verification activities, or new procedures
  • Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to support project timelines
  • Supporting equipment calibration, qualification, validation, and preventative maintenance
  • Reviewing existing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Training team members on new procedures, equipment usage, lab safety, and chemical safety
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
  • 2–3+ years of experience in a GMP, ISO, manufacturing, or regulated laboratory environment
  • Strong formulation and calculation skills
  • Experience with batch records, SOPs, technical documentation, or manufacturing instructions
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and adjust priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a hands‑on, onsite role for someone who enjoys being close to the science, the process, and the product.
