SummaryUnder general direction, assists the senior research assistant or other research investigators by performing moderately complex research and experimentation following established protocols; performs routine lab and equipment maintenance; sets up and operates scientific apparatus; assists with research projects and may perform independent research; performs supervisory and training duties; completes clerical and editorial duties; compiles, processes and analyzes data.
Responsibilities- Conduct phone interviews in Spanish and English with research study participants.
- Conduct literature searches and prepare bibliographies for scholarly papers.
- Create tables and graphs.
- Create presentations.
- Track and report data collection efforts.
- Maintain content on Center website.
- Support grant proposal submissions.
- Perform general office support and help with preparations for large research meetings.
- Education/Training: BA required, preferably in social sciences.
- Work Experience:
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail. - Language:
Bilingual Spanish skills. - Skills:
Strong writing, typing, and editing skills.
