Postdoctoral Fellow in Laboratory for Particle Physics and Cosmology
The Laboratory for Particle Physics and Cosmology at Harvard University invites applications for a Post‑Doctoral Fellowship to be associated with the ATLAS experiment. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics and experience with state‑of‑the‑art detector systems and analysis software used in a particle physics experiment.
The successful applicant will be stationed at CERN and work with Prof. Melissa Franklin on the muon spectrometer, including maintenance, operations and performance of the NSW muon detector.
Basic Qualifications- Completed Ph.D. by the appointment start date.
- Experience with advanced detector systems and particle physics experiment analysis software.
