Centered at our state-of-the-art research sites in Cambridge and Seattle, scientists focus on novel targets and pathways for tumors that are refractory to current therapies.  With a deep understanding of the causal human biology, we are able to leverage our multiple modality platforms to best match the modality to the mechanism and desired outcome.  We are a fully integrated drug discovery through translational and early clinical development organization which exploits state-of-the-art in vitro, in vivo and ex-vivo models of Cancer biology and Immuno-oncology to identify and validate targets.

** Position Summary
** We are seeking an experienced individual with cancer research and small molecule oncology drug discovery expertise to join the Discovery Biology team within the Oncology Thematic Research Center at Bristol Myers Squibb in Cambridge, MA. The qualified candidate is a highly motivated, interactive, and creative scientist and with the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization to advance programs from target discovery and validation to lead optimization, selection of drug candidate and IND-enabling biology related activities.

The candidate will be involved in leading and executing biology activities that will help advance programs from early stages all the way through IND filling. In addition, the individual will coordinate with other functions, such as informatics and predictive science, lead discovery and optimization, in vivo pharmacology, and translational research teams to design/execute work related to patient stratification, identification of appropriate PD markers and assay development/transfer for miniaturization, among others to ensure timely project advancement.

This individual will be responsible for designing and executing strategies and experimental studies related to the decisional progress of our programs.
