Position: Technical Associate I
REQUIRED:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science; two years of relevant research experience (which may include experience gained as an undergraduate); demonstrated experience in ML interpretability, program synthesis, and mathematical modeling of complex systems; proficiency with:
Python (including Pytorch) and LaTeX; excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in small groups and write clear and concise research reports; and ability to work in teams and contribute to group projects.

This position is funded through September 2027. Extension beyond that is subject to renewed funding and performance.

TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, works closely with Principal Investigators, Research Scientists, Post-Doctoral Associates, Graduate Students, and external collaborators on ongoing research studies involving the scientific study of machine learning models and the development of new machine learning methods; will be responsible for a variety of technical, training and administrative assistance activities supporting the research team through all phases of the project;

and support research activities related to language model interpretability.
