Postdoctoral Fellow in Psychology
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship under the direction of Professor Tomer Ullman in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. The position begins Summer/Fall 2025.
Research FocusResearch on Theory-of-Mind, Pragmatics, and 'Scripted' Behavior. Subjects revolve around common‑sense reasoning, theory‑of‑mind and/or pragmatics. Current lab interest includes reasoning about scripted behaviors in other people. Candidates interested in this topic will have an advantage.
Responsibilities- Design and conduct experiments, including data collection and analysis.
- Train and supervise research assistants.
- Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Collaborate with the Harvard University research lab and related labs.
One year with the possibility for renewal for up to two subsequent years. Salary $67,600 per year, inclusive of health insurance, benefits, and conference travel funding. Applicants with availability for two years are preferred.
Qualifications- Bachelor's and Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Cognitive Development, or a related field.
- Strong experience in empirical research: experiment design, data collection and analysis, organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preference for candidates with a background in computational methods and/or statistical methods.
