We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Associate Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cambridge, MA
.
- $33-36/hr to start!
- Monday-Friday
- This position is an 18-month assignment with possibility of extension or conversion.
- Position will be responsible for planning and executing genotyping experiments for genetically modified mice in accordance with established protocols.
- Position will also perform genetic characterization of newly generated and breeding mouse lines.
- Position will also support the development, implementation, and optimization of new methods for genetic characterization.
- B.S. degree with 1+ years of relevant experience is Required!
- Strong molecular bio background is Required!
- Experience designing and optimizing PCR-based assays is Required!
- Experience with NGS library preparation is Preferred!
- Foundational understanding of transgenic and knockout mouse generation processes is Preferred!
