Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive oncology and immuno‑oncology discovery programs, from target identification through preclinical proof‑of‑concept.
  • Contribute deep expertise in cancer biology, tumor immunology, and translational science to inform target selection, indication strategy, and experimental design.
  • Support the discovery and preclinical development of innovative cancer therapeutics using diverse modalities, including small‑molecule inhibitors, targeted degraders, and biologics.
  • Provide scientific leadership while remaining capable of hands‑on laboratory work, as needed, to directly support project teams.
  • Manage and coordinate external collaborations with CROs, academic groups, and industry partners, ensuring scientific rigor, alignment with project goals, and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • PhD (or equivalent) in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
  • Postdoctoral and industry experience in cancer biology and/or immuno‑oncology research.
  • Strong track record in target identification and validation, mechanism‑of‑action studies, and biomarker discovery.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting preclinical development of oncology therapeutics.
  • Highly familiar with multiple therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, degraders (e.g., PROTACs), and biologics.
  • Proven ability to lead scientific projects while contributing experimentally when required.
  • Experience managing external research collaborations with CROs and academic or industry partners.
  • Excellent scientific communication skills and experience working with large‑scale data mining or target discovery and translation to patients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience advancing programs from target‑ development candidate.
  • Publications and/or patents in oncology or immuno‑oncology research.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross‑functional pharmaceutical research environment.
