High school diploma; a minimum of two years of laboratory experience, including experience with aquaculture; ability to work independently, and to work well as part of a team; strong work ethic; and excellent organizational and communication skills. PREFERRED:
Bachelor's degree in Biology/neuroscience, Computer science, engineering, or closely related field.
Some weekend/holiday work may be required.

SENIOR RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE, Biology - Weissbourd Lab, to support ongoing projects with contributions ranging from wet lab work to computational expertise, engineering, and other fields. Examples could include:
Laboratory experiments: microscopy, molecular biology (cloning, RNA extraction, etc), behavior experiments, and generating transgenic jellyfish by microinjection of oocytes, Computational biology: developing imaging processing pipelines to accompany new microscopes being built; solve other machine vision problems for behavior tracking; analysis and modelling of neural activity and/or behavior data, and Engineering: building novel microscopy and/or behavior recording setups.
