NI Oncology reimagines medicines for cancer patients through targeted therapies, immunotherapies, CAR‑T, and radioligand therapy. This lab‑head position is part of our Oncology Pharmacology team and focuses on developing and applying in‑vivo models to evaluate novel cancer therapies and advance early‑stage drug discovery.
Responsibilities- Design pre‑clinical in vivo studies to test novel hypotheses, screen candidate molecules, and establish proof‑of‑concept for new modalities.
- Develop CDX, PDX, and syngeneic tumor models to evaluate anti‑tumor activity, PK/PD relationships, biomarkers, and translational questions.
- Manage associate‑level scientists.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams.
- Critically analyze and present results within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Adhere to animal protocols and document data and methods in an electronic laboratory notebook.
- PhD with 5–8 years of research experience as a postdoc or in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Deep knowledge of antibody drug conjugates.
- Extensive experience with CDX, PDX xenograft tumor models, and/or syngeneic models.
- Expertise in cell culture, PCR, ELISA, western blot, and flow cytometry.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint, Prism, and Excel.
The salary range for this position is $126,000–$234,000 per year, depending on experience and relevant skills. Compensation includes a performance‑based cash incentive and, depending on role level, eligibility for annual equity awards.
