Research Assistant/Associate, Clinical Research
Job Summary
Full-time Research Assistant (RA) wanted for an exciting, large-scale project in the laboratory of Professor Randy Buckner.
Job-Specific Responsibilities- Data acquisition using behavioral and neuroimaging techniques (MRI).
- Data entry, data checking, and quality control procedures.
- Subject recruitment and enrollment through community outreach and advertising.
- Serve as an interface among several collaborating lab groups.
- Maintain participant databases.
- Score and process data.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
Background in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field and previous research experience is required.
Additional Qualifications and Skills- B.A. or B.S. preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computing packages such as MS Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following:
Linux, MATLAB, SPM, FSL, fMRI. - Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization with careful attention to detail.
- Comfort with technical skills.
- High degree of motivation and self-sufficiency. Extensive training and supervision will be provided.
- Standard hours: 35 hours per week.

Cambridge, MA; fully on site. - One-year term position with renewal dependent upon continuation of funding.
- Requires flexibility for occasional evening and/or weekend MRI scan slots.
