Job Overview
Kelly Science is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a growing company located in Cambridge, MA. Pay: $30-35/hour.
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Employment Type:
Full Time;
Contract-to-Hire.
- Perform accurate pipetting using single-channel and multichannel micropipettes, including work in 96?well plate formats.
- Prepare samples, standards, and mobile phases for chromatographic analyses accurately and consistently.
- Operate HPLC and LC?
MS systems for routine analytical workflows, including preparing the instruments, loading samples and mobile phases, and running sequences. - Support fermentation and microbiology scientists with media and buffer preparation, culture handling using aseptic technique, sampling at defined time points, cleanup, and execution of routine assays under established protocols.
- Strictly follow laboratory safety requirements and good laboratory practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, reordering consumables, and ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Strong hands‑on experience with single-channel and multichannel micropipettes, including 96?well plate handling.
- Experience with sample and mobile phase preparation for chromatographic analyses.
- Experience with aseptic technique and standard microbiology laboratory practices.
- Strong adherence to laboratory safety requirements and good laboratory practices.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workstation.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word).
