Postdoctoral Associate
Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences to work at the intersection of physical oceanography, numerical modeling, high-performance computing, and machine learning. The successful applicant will work with Assistant Professor Abigail Bodner, leveraging results from a state-of-the-art large-eddy simulation based on Oceananigans.jl that resolves scales ranging from tens of kilometers down to meter scales. The project will involve analyzing the simulation output to address fundamental questions about the processes governing ocean mixed-layer dynamics and their parameterizations.
