Pay Rate:
Based on experience and qualifications
Employment Type:
6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Overtime)
Why This Role Matters
In this role, you will support critical research activities through the execution and optimization of cell-based and molecular biology experiments. Your expertise will help generate high-quality scientific data that contributes to the advancement of innovative therapeutic research programs.
What You'll Do
- Execute cell-based and molecular biology experiments with minimal supervision
- Design, optimize, and implement experimental protocols to meet research objectives
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in compliance with documentation standards
- Troubleshoot experimental challenges and adapt methodologies as needed
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental data and findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to support research initiatives
- Perform in vitro cellular and drug response assays
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field with relevant laboratory experience; OR a Master's degree or PhD in a related discipline
- 2–5 years of bench scientist or biologist laboratory experience preferred
- Proficiency with cell biology methods and molecular biology techniques
- Experience conducting in vitro cellular assays and drug response assays
- Strong laboratory documentation and record-keeping skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute experiments
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving experience in a laboratory setting
- Experience in cancer biology and/or drug discovery is preferred
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
