Our client, a leading organization in biomedicine research, is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Associate Scientist, you will be an integral part of the Biomedicine Designs Endogenous Antibody Discovery Group, supporting innovative antibody discovery projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title:Senior Associate Scientist
Location:Cambridge, MA
Pay Range:$35-42/hr.
What's the Job?- Support therapeutic antibody discovery campaigns utilizing flow cytometry, serum titer screening, and hybridoma-based methods.
- Execute established laboratory workflows including rodent immunization, serum response evaluation, and B cell sorting.
- Maintain reagent inventories, prepare laboratory materials, and ensure operational readiness for discovery activities.
- Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory records and data systems.
- Summarize data and communicate key findings, experimental progress, and campaign outcomes to project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 2 years of full-time laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting.
- Hands-on experience supporting antibody discovery workflows, including flow cytometry, B cell methods, or hybridoma screening.
- Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and immune library generation.
- Strong laboratory organization skills, including reagent handling, inventory management, and maintaining materials for experiments.
