Contract Scientist I/II – LNP Formulation (6-Month Contract) Please note - No C2C or agencies with C2C or W2 candidates.

We are seeking a Scientist I/II with hands-on experience in Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) formulation development to support an innovative biotechnology company advancing next-generation genetic medicine programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute DOE studies to optimize LNP formulations.
• Develop, screen, and characterize LNPs.
• Analyze particle size, PDI, encapsulation efficiency, and stability data.
• Collaborate with Biology, Analytical Development, and Process Development teams.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and support scale-up activities.
• Maintain experimental documentation and communicate results.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with LNP formulation development and optimization.
• Experience with DOE methodologies and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of LNP characterization techniques such as DLS, encapsulation assays, and stability studies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
