Summary
The main function of a Pharmacology Associate is to support drug development and research by conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing pharmacological data, and assisting in the evaluation of drug efficacy and safety. A typical Pharmacology Associate works closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct in vivo experiments to assess drug activity and efficacy.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data, prepare reagents, maintain lab equipment, and manage sample inventory.
- Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical and clinical studies Assist in the development of protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Present findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific publications.
- Stay current with advancements in pharmacology and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of pharmacological principles and in vivo laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Graph Pad Prism, Excel, R).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting.
27 - 32 USD hourly
