** Biology Contractor Our Cambridge based biotechnology client is seeking an experienced biologist to join their research team on a contract basis.

This role offers the opportunity to help advance a novel therapeutic platform aimed at addressing serious diseases with significant unmet patient need.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in cell-based assay development, mammalian cell culture, and molecular biology techniques, along with a demonstrated ability to generate high-quality data in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, optimize, and execute cell-based screening assays in 2D and 3D cellular models
* Evaluate therapeutic activity and mechanism of action using a variety of assay platforms, including target engagement, reporter-based, proliferation, and biomarker assays
* Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to cross-functional teams
* Maintain accurate laboratory records and experimental documentation
* Collaborate closely with research colleagues to support discovery and development programs Qualifications
* B.S. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 6+ years of industry experience, or M.S. with 4+ years of industry experience
* Strong background in high-throughput cellular assay development, optimization, and quantitative data analysis
* Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, including cancer cell lines, primary cells, and/or 3D organoid models
* Experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques such as qPCR, ELISA, western blotting, immunoassays, and protein interaction assays
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Experience
* Oncology research experience
* Exposure to target engagement or mechanism-of-action studies
* Experience supporting drug discovery programs within biotech or pharmaceutical settings
