The Quantum Design Lab was established in Boston/Cambridge to lead research efforts in the field of quantum computing across Samsung electronics, with research spanning a broad range of theoretical areas, including quantum error correction, quantum computing architecture, benchmarking, and quantum algorithms.

Location:

Daily onsite presence at our Boston/Cambridge office in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

• Conduct advanced, independent, and collaborative research in quantum computing
• Develop novel quantum algorithms and methodologies, rigorous theoretical and computational analysis, validation and interpretation of research results
• Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and professional conference
• Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic research programs
• Foster collaborative research activities with leading academic institutes in the area
• Support your team, empowering their achievements, facilitating self-management, developing growth opportunities, and proactively planning for the future.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• Prepare research reports on a regular basis

• PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Quantum Computing, ideally in theory and algorithm.

Base Pay Range $112,000 - $168,000 USD
