What You'll DoThe Quantum Design Lab was established in Boston/Cambridge to lead research efforts in the field of quantum computing across Samsung electronics, with research spanning a broad range of theoretical areas, including quantum error correction, quantum computing architecture, benchmarking, and quantum algorithms.
Location:
Daily onsite presence at our Boston/Cambridge office in alignment with our Flexible Work policy
- Conduct advanced, independent, and collaborative research in quantum computing
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and methodologies, rigorous theoretical and computational analysis, validation and interpretation of research results
- Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and professional conference
- Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic research programs
- Foster collaborative research activities with leading academic institutes in the area
- Support your team, empowering their achievements, facilitating self-management, developing growth opportunities, and proactively planning for the future.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
- Prepare research reports on a regular basis
- PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience with Quantum Computing, ideally in theory and algorithm.

Base Pay Range $112,000 - $168,000 USD
