Position Summary

Reporting to the Director/Translational Development, this role is part of the Translational group in Cambridge, MA, managing the scientific and preclinical laboratory component of multiple immune-oncology interfacing late-stage programs (Phase 2 and beyond). Key responsibilities include leading bench-based mechanism-of-action studies, differentiation from standard-of-care molecules, combination rationale, and resistance mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preclinical/laboratory studies using late-stage BMS assets to support Translational Medicine annual goals.
  • Deliver translational strategy data, including biomarkers, patient selection hypotheses, dose/schedule, combination strategies, resistance mechanisms, and differentiation.
  • Interface with internal/external research scientists to ensure seamless information flow.
  • May contribute to external preclinical collaborations.
  • Maintain written reports and present results in an organized and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively, foster teamwork, and contribute to project strategy discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in immune-oncology, hematology and/or immunology (academic or industry).
  • Strong publication record and demonstrated laboratory research track record supporting clinical development.
Technical Skills (required/preferred)
  • In vitro: multi-parameter flow cytometry/cell sorting; immune effector assays (ADCC/ADCP/T-cell killing); cytokine analysis (ELISA/MSD); bulk/sc-RNA-seq.
  • In vivo: end-to-end syngeneic and CDX efficacy studies; tumor immunophenotyping and transcriptomic profiling.
  • Spatial technology experience (e.g., Akoya, Visium, COSMX) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and ability to develop primary manuscripts/publications.
Compensation Overview

Cambridge Crossing: $142,220 - $172,340
