Position Summary
Reporting to the Director/Translational Development, this role is part of the Translational group in Cambridge, MA, managing the scientific and preclinical laboratory component of multiple immune-oncology interfacing late-stage programs (Phase 2 and beyond). Key responsibilities include leading bench-based mechanism-of-action studies, differentiation from standard-of-care molecules, combination rationale, and resistance mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preclinical/laboratory studies using late-stage BMS assets to support Translational Medicine annual goals.
- Deliver translational strategy data, including biomarkers, patient selection hypotheses, dose/schedule, combination strategies, resistance mechanisms, and differentiation.
- Interface with internal/external research scientists to ensure seamless information flow.
- May contribute to external preclinical collaborations.
- Maintain written reports and present results in an organized and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively, foster teamwork, and contribute to project strategy discussions.
- PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in immune-oncology, hematology and/or immunology (academic or industry).
- Strong publication record and demonstrated laboratory research track record supporting clinical development.
- In vitro: multi-parameter flow cytometry/cell sorting; immune effector assays (ADCC/ADCP/T-cell killing); cytokine analysis (ELISA/MSD); bulk/sc-RNA-seq.
- In vivo: end-to-end syngeneic and CDX efficacy studies; tumor immunophenotyping and transcriptomic profiling.
- Spatial technology experience (e.g., Akoya, Visium, COSMX) is a plus.
- Strong verbal/written communication and ability to develop primary manuscripts/publications.
