- Synthesis of small molecules using state-of-the-art organic and transitional metal chemistry.
- Use NMR and LC-MS-based methods to monitor synthesis purity and bi-products.
- Order reagents, optimize reaction conditions, propose and test new synthesis routes.
- Accurately record, analyze, and present data to team members and company
- Act as a dynamic and collaborative teammate with other members of our interdisciplinary research group.
- BS or MS in chemistry or related field is required, with 1-3+ years of academic or industry experience related to synthetic organic chemistry, synthetic methodology development, or process chemistry.
- Laboratory experience, including proficiency with fundamental chemistry lab methods, is required.
- Strong organic chemistry knowledge and experience LC-MS-based instrumentation.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and an ability to adhere to deadlines and commitments.
- An interest and desire to learn more about the drug discovery and development process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a personality of risk-taking, positivity, leadership, adaptability, adventurousness, and excitement to build a pioneering company and work in a dynamic, goal- and performance-oriented team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tools for day-to-day work; baseline proficiency is expected, and advanced or innovative use of AI is a strong plus
- Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings
