Pharmacology Associate

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Pharmacology Associates in Cambridge, MA. This person will spend the majority of their time supporting preclinical research studies by preparing reagents, conducting in vivo experiments, handling and dosing animals, collecting study data, and analyzing results. They will collaborate closely with scientists and research teams to evaluate drug efficacy, maintain laboratory equipment, assist with study protocols, and communicate findings during team meetings.

The role requires a strong balance of hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and teamwork to help advance drug discovery and development programs.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in a research, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical laboratory setting
• Hands-on experience with in vivo studies and laboratory techniques (animal handling experience/dosing techniques).
• Experience with animal handling and dosing procedures
• Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Graph Pad Prism, Excel, or R - Experience with rodent models
• Understanding of cardiovascular (CV) disease models
• Understanding of metabolic disease models
• Experience assisting with protocol development and SOP creation
• Exposure to presenting scientific findings or contributing to scientific publications
