Senior Scientist
Leading the HTS-NGS team supporting oligonucleotide platform projects, with a focus on RNA editing therapeutics.
Responsibilities- Managing and mentoring a team performing in vitro biological screening, NGS-based characterization, and assay development
- Designing and optimizing molecular biology and NGS workflows
- Leading automation and technology integration for high-throughput capabilities
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Chemistry, Data Science, and Biology teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- PhD (4+ years) or MSc (12+ years) in cell/molecular biology, genomics, with industry biotech/pharma experience.
- Hands‑on expertise in cell culture (96/384-well formats) and NGS (amplicon‑seq, RNA‑seq) including library prep, QC, and Illumina platforms.
- Experience with automation liquid handling systems (Viaflo, Tempest), LIMS (preferably Benchling), and QC instruments (Qubit, Tape Station).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead complex projects in a dynamic environment are essential.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Additional experience with screening oligonucleotides.
