Role
Bioassay & High Throughput Screening (HTS) Co-op supporting early drug discovery through assay development, optimization, and execution.
Responsibilities- perform cell-based and biochemical assays, prepare reagents and samples, collect and analyze data, troubleshoot experiments, contribute to automation and process improvements, and complete an independent project culminating in a presentation.
- current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields; knowledge of basic lab techniques, solution preparation, serial dilutions; strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and prior research experience; interest in assay development and automation.
- support high-throughput screening campaigns against large compound collections, assay optimization (cell density, incubation, format comparison), and compound preparation; hands‑on work with advanced laboratory instrumentation; exposure to screening technologies, automation tools, and data analysis software.
- internship from January to June 2027, with a base pay of $23-$29/hour, located in the U.S., with eligibility prerequisites for students.
