Cicada is an artistic, intimate & beloved Cambridge hub at 106 Prospect Street, Central Square. We are a specialty Vietnamese cafe by day, wine bar by night. Cicada has been James Beard Nominated, and made Boston’s Best multiple years.
PositionFull Time Barista (3-5 shifts/week) at Cicada
Compensation$20-26/hr (base + tips)
Professional Expectations- Barista experience a must (all levels welcome).
- Keep coffee bar tidy. Regularly deep clean equipment.
- Welcome and seat guests in orderly fashion. Maintain house rules.
- Dedication to hospitality work (must love people!).
- Hungry for a place to stay for a long time & a team to call home.
- Be humble & respectful. Be kind.
- Work hard.
- Communicate well & often.
- Be hungry to learn every day.
- Collaborate with team to problem solve & create beauty.
Close-knit small team. Small size dining room. Excellent environment for self-starters & independent workers.
