PAGU - Bartender

Job Overview

PAGU is a Michelin‑awarded Spanish‑Japanese tapas restaurant on Mass. Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139. We are seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. The position is full‑time or part‑time with starting pay $6.75/hr + tips, and the opportunity for higher hourly pay based on experience. Full‑time bartenders have the opportunity to make six figures annually.

• Proper training and education on all food and beverage offerings and steps of service.
• Allergy knowledge and training.
• Product knowledge of all beverage offerings including spirits, wine, sake, sherry, PAGU cocktails, and classic cocktails.
• TIPS certification.
• Opening/closing procedures.
• Inventory management.
• Cleaning and organizing product.
• Bussing and polishing.
• Credit card and cash handling.
• Use of Google Suite, Toast, and Door Dash/Caviar.

Previous bartender experience, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Must hold or be willing to obtain TIPS certification.

Starting pay $6.75/hr with potential for higher hourly rate. Full‑time bartenders may earn up to six figures annually. Benefits include health insurance, vacation mileage, and career growth opportunities.
