** Overview*
* We are seeking an experienced Tailor / Alteration Specialist to join a well-established menswear team. This role is ideal for someone with strong alteration skills and hands-on experience working with menswear, suiting, and custom clothing. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, precision tailoring, and delivering high-quality garment alterations with excellent attention to detail.
** Responsibilities*
* + Perform high-quality alterations
+ Jackets
+ Trousers
+ Shirts
+ Outerwear
+ Formalwear
+ Complete detailed tailoring and finishing work
+ Ensure proper garment fit, structure, and presentation
+ Work closely with team members and customers to achieve desired fit and tailoring standards
Jacket Alteration Skills
+ Jacket suppression (waist shaping)
+ Sleeve shortening
+ ning Sleeve pitch adjustments / sleeve rotation
+ Collar roll correction
+ Take in or let outside seams
+ Jacket length shortening
+ Shoulder adjustments
Trouser Alteration Skills
+ Waist adjustments (in/out)
+ Seat adjustments
+ Tapering
+ Hemming with original finish
+ Rise adjustments
Shirt Alteration Skills
+ Slim body adjustments
+ Sleeve shortening
+ Side seam tapering
** Qualifications*
* + Previous tailoring or alteration experience required
+ Menswear experience strongly preferred
+ Custom clothing or bespoke tailoring experience preferred
+ Strong understanding of garment construction and fit
+ Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
+ Ability to manage multiple garments and deadlines efficiently
