Sales Associate - Chestnut Hill

Summary

The Sales Associate represents the brand through in-store and virtual client interactions at the Bloomingdale's Chestnut Hill location, delivering exceptional service and maintaining high product and visual standards. The role includes clienteling, merchandising, inventory support, and proactively pursuing sales targets. Associates will also support store operations through key-holder duties, cash handling, and shipping/receiving tasks as needed.

• Provide prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable assistance to clients in-store and virtually and cultivate long-term client relationships.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up (phone, email, thank-you notes, and shipping out-of-town).
• Perform key-holder responsibilities including store opening/closing, cash handling, and end-of-day procedures.
• Maintain merchandising and visual standards, merchandise product, and assist with inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Manage client books, maintain productivity, and accurately process transactions using register systems.

• High level of product knowledge and ability to communicate brand terminology for shoes and accessories.
• Strong customer service, communication, and clienteling skills with consistent follow-up.
• Proficiency with POS/register systems and familiarity with timekeeping/HR portals (Ulti Pro) for attendance and scheduling.
• Ability to perform inventory, back-of-house, and shipping/receiving tasks and to follow uniform and grooming standards.
