MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Welcome all customers and set expectations
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear, ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
- Use technology accurately and efficiently under time pressure, demonstrating product knowledge and appropriate tool use
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded
- Prioritize tasks and manage time with competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
- Maintain store appearance, keep it clean, attractive and organized
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement and results
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management
- High School graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators
- Embrace new technology and change
- Previous customer service and retail experience
Pay Range: $33.69 - $39.02
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
