We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bakery Department Manager to lead our growing bakery program within our community-owned grocery store.

What You'll Lead

Our bakery program currently includes:

• Scratch-made pies
• Cakes and specialty desserts
• Cookies, bars, and sweet treats
• Quick breads, muffins, and scones
• Bake-off bagels
• Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free offerings that meet the diverse needs of our community

We are proud of what we create today and excited about the opportunities to expand our bakery offerings in the years ahead.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a leader who:

• Has experience in bakery production and retail food operations
• Enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing staff
• Creates a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning
• Has a passion for quality, presentation, and customer service
• Can balance daily production needs with long-term planning and innovation
• Gets excited about building programs, improving systems, and growing sales

Since we are owned by our customers we stock the foods customers want to buy instead of the foods manufacturers want to sell.
