ANB Sensors Ltd has ambitious growth plans over the next five years and is seeking a talented individual to join their expanding commercial team. The role reports directly to the CCO and focuses on building on the company's impressive market traction.
About us: ANB Sensors is an SME specializing in environmental sensors aimed at creating a more sustainable planet. Our unique sensors for water quality monitoring address a significant market gap. We are looking for a sales-focused, self-starting individual eager to join us on our journey towards global success.
Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new customers within the designated sales vertical
- Conduct customer visits to support their needs and requirements
- Accurately forecast and report on your sales funnel
- Identify new markets and facilitate cross-pollination within assigned verticals
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to meet KPIs and revenue targets
- Monitor and report on market developments, focusing on competitor actions and strategies
- Represent the company at industrial exhibitions and conferences
- At least five years of sales experience in technical products within the oil & gas sector
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Degree in business, marketing, science, or engineering
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently
- Experience launching disruptive new technologies
- Experience building a sales pipeline from scratch
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Hubspot)
- Strong motivation and results-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with standard sales strategies and processes
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Ability to utilize knowledge and judgment to achieve goals
- Experience with different commercial models
- Recent experience in business strategy development and introducing new products to new markets
- Experience in product/system integration on underwater vehicles
- Knowledge of chemical sensors and the water industry
- Ability to develop market strategies that create opportunities, including product development and market pricing
- Formal sales methodology training
- Ability to build and nurture customer trust
- Creative, energetic, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Commercial awareness with risk and opportunity assessment skills
- Proactive team player
- Effective cross-team communication skills, both internally (science, marketing, sales, legal) and externally
- Strong communicator capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, decision-making, and influencing skills
- Flexible and ready for frequent travel
