Area Business Manager – Dupixent (Remote – ElPaso, TX; Albuquerque, NM; Tucson, AZ)

About the Job

Sanofi develops specialty treatments for debilitating diseases. The Area Business Manager (ABM) engages pulmonologists and other key customers within the assigned geography, delivering clinically focused messages to create and grow revenue and consistently achieve product goals for asthma and COPD indications.

• Engage pulmonology customers within the assigned geographical territory and deliver clinically focused messaging to introduce, launch, grow brand share, and achieve revenue and product goals for asthma and COPD.
• Collaborate with field-based stakeholders—including Regeneron sales counterparts, Medical Science Liaisons, Reimbursement and Market Access teammates, and Thought Leader Liaisons—to proactively address customer needs and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
• Build strong relationships with pulmonology experts, biologic coordinators, office staff, and key patient advocacy groups.
• Identify key opportunities, develop strategic business plans, and generate product utilization to grow territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize the allocated budget to support strategy execution and business growth.
• Lead initiatives for sales success, including industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
• Coordinate calls to large group practices and other key targets to drive overall product results.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
• Ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product information.
• Willingness to travel to meetings, trainings, and programs as necessary.
• Consistent sales performance in complex, diverse customer environments, performed with integrity and compliance.
• Team‑player with strong collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years selling sub‑cutaneous self‑injectable (or office‑administered IV) biologics in a competitive market.
• 2+ years selling experience in asthma and/or COPD or other immunology disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis.
• 2+ years calling on pulmonologists.
• Experience with launch in specialty care and biologics.
• Matrix partnership experience.
• Advanced clinically‑based selling skills and a proven track record of success with product launches.
• Experience with in‑servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
• Passion and learning aptitude for science; proactive in strengthening disease‑state knowledge.
• Highly organized with strong account management skills.
