Job Title
This individual will support chemists by analyzing samples using various chromatographic techniques, optimizing analytical methods for accuracy and repeatability, and troubleshooting instrumentation as needed. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, be adept at overcoming complex analytical challenges, and take a proactive approach to supporting and improving laboratory operations.
Qualifications- The ideal candidate will hold a Master or higher degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques such as Reversed-Phase Liquid Chromatography (RPLC).
- Proficiency with the Waters Empower Chromatography Data System (CDS) for data acquisition, processing, and management is required.
- Experience in working with large molecules such as peptides and synthetic small molecules is highly desirable.
- Conduct liquid chromatography analysis using Empower or similar LC platforms; experience with large molecule analysis is preferred.
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for synthetic peptide release testing and characterization.
- Collaborate closely with drug substance and drug product process development colleagues to achieve project objectives.
- Use Waters Empower system (or other LC platform) to perform liquid chromatography analysis, experience in large molecules analysis is a plus.
- Experience with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chromatographic and spectroscopic laboratory equipment.
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $23.50 - $24.50/hr non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
