We have an exciting career opportunity available in our Pivotal Attribute Sciences team at the site in Cambridge, MA. In the role of Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of analytical methods, the characterization of protein-based biologic therapies, and process development activities.

- Work in a cross-functional team environment to advance therapies in late-stage development.
- Analyze late-stage protein-based therapies with advanced analytical techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography, as well as compendial methods, such as pH, Visual Appearance, turbidity, etc.
- Support the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
- Other duties include data analysis, preparation of electronic notebook records of experimental data, authorship of technical protocols and reports, presentation of results at team meetings, and support for regulatory filings as needed.
- Expert-level experience troubleshooting and maintaining HPLC/UPLC instruments.
- Expertise in the use of Empower software (e.g., custom field creation, writing instrument methods, etc.)
- Degree in chemistry (Master's 2 years, or Bachelor's 4 years), biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline
- Excellent laboratory skills with 2 years of experience in industry laboratories
- Analytical chemistry/biochemistry experience
- Experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Expert-level experience troubleshooting and maintaining HPLC/UPLC instruments
- Expertise in the use of Empower software (e.g., custom field creation, writing instrument methods, etc.)
- GMP experience preferred
- Master's degree and 2 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience
- Minimum 2 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience with a Master's degree, OR minimum 4 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Experience in analytical chemistry or biochemistry in an industry laboratory setting
- Experience in a GMP environment
