Allied Universal is currently hiring a full‑time Security Officer for a Bio‑Tech company in Cambridge, MA.

Monday‑Friday 6 AM – 2 PM

Starting pay: $22.30 per hour (paid orientation & paid training).

Candidate must be 21+ years old and have at least 1 year of previous security experience.

, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

• Thu: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vendor entry procedures while following location protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, and after‑hours activity.
• Support day‑to‑day operations by communicating professionally with healthcare personnel and the public, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, medical, and/or security‑related concerns as appropriate.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
