Monday - Friday 6 AM - 245 PM

Starting pay is $26.10 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Free Parking or 5 Minutes from T Station

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating observations according to site protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control concerns.

* Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and supporting access management procedures in accordance with site requirements.

* Support a professional environment by assisting with alarms, disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or other security-related concerns while coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
