Tactical Safety Officer- Armed

We are hiring professional a part-time Armed Security Officer with weekend availability. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC), their own Massachusetts‑compliant firearm, a duty belt, and a valid Driver's License. Military or law enforcement experience is required. The schedule is Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols.
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance.
• Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions.
• Monitor closed‑circuit television for potential issues.

• Maintain a visible presence within the facility as a deterrent to illegal activity.
• Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere.
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports.
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must have a valid armed license where required.
• Strong commitment to the well‑being of others.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using computer systems and applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Active Armed Security license.
• Valid Driver's License.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours.
• Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Must stay alert at all times.
