Schedule:

Monday-Friday (9am-5pm). Flexibility required as operationally needed.

Under the direction of the Security Account Manager, the Assistant Security Manager provides direct supervision for Shift Supervisors and Officers. As a liaison between Securitas and the client in the absence of the Security Services Director, the candidate observes and reports activities and incidents, provides for the security and safety of client property and personnel, prepares and coordinates staffing and scheduling, and preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises.

• Perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
• Provide lead direction at assigned client site(s); ensure post orders are followed, tours are completed, and reports are filed; notify proper authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate, seek advice from management or client representatives, and document counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders.
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company.
• Act with company management or designated representatives to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with authorized client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are met and to deliver customer service.
• Manage projects assigned by the Security Services Director or client representative.
• Work with established resources to reduce overtime, and maintain a thorough understanding of client contract and financial obligations.
