* Job Summary:
** Trades Technicians perform a variety of skilled labor to support campus operations. In this role, you will perform general maintenance and minor repairs across trades, including: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and unskilled labor.

Schedule:
*** Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
* Successful candidates may be asked to work some weekends and special events.
* This position is classified as essential services, and may be required to work when the campus is closed.#

* What You Will Do:
*** Performs carpentry repairs on windows, doors, ceilings, shades, flooring, walls, shelfing, and screens.
* Performs plumbing tasks including repair and replacement of drinking fountains, sinks, toilets, faucets, shower heads, hot water heaters, water and waste lines, and valves.
* Performs minor low voltage electrical tasks such as replacing and repairing switches, outlets, small appliances, stoves, heaters, and motors.
* Performs minor HVAC repair tasks such as replacing filters, fans, and belts and checking for leaks.
* Assists labor and grounds crew with routine duties such as litter removal, leaf pick-up, mulching, and trimming.
* Submits work orders and coordinates with trades on projects. Completes all work in accordance with standard safety rules and regulations.

* Up to 1 year of related work experience

* Experience with general building maintenance and repair#

* Physical Requirements:
*** Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, push, and pull
* Frequently lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted
* Occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs
* Climb and work on stools, ladders, and stairs

* * Salary Range:
** The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy. This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
